British food is worth a try here. This fast food guarantees you nicely cooked fish and good fish & chips. It's nice to order great tea.
Friar Rugg's Fish & Chip Shop is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Low prices are what you will pay for your meal. The calm atmosphere adds a comfortable feel to a guests' stay at this place. But google users rated this spot and it didn't receive a high rating.

Total let down. Fish was 100% catfish defo not cod/pollock/haddock. Price not reflecting cheap fish option either. Steak pud was squished in thin tray and portions not too good. Wish I had gone usual chippy in Mill Hill as far far superior in quality and freshness. No atmosphere either. Defo won't go again when in Darwen, shame really. Had about 5 chips that were normal all the rest were scrappy ends. I honestly couldn't identify the fish I was eating, never had taste like it. Left most of my meal..never again.
