Get an operations guy in there and fix the culture of the store so a little bit of customer service exudes from your staff. The food station was closing up an hour before they were supposed to. By the comments it looks like I'm not the only one wanting great customer service here. Too bad. I tried to get bone in chicken, they gave me tenders. $10.99 for 5 tenders, totally not worth it. The bummer is that I totally came here to get the bone in chicken because I had heard so much about how great it was. Such a big letdown.

Food is good. Kitchen closes early on weekends and have a couple times when we've wanted pizza and they were cleaning the oven.

The 'Kitchen' part of FriendShip Kitchen is struggling these days, and I feel for the folks who are there trying to make it work. Was a 5 star for sure when it opened, with great selection, prompt service and a spotless environment, but staffing issues seem to have really hurt it. The chicken/Kitchen is supposed to be the centerpiece of the store, but every time I've stopped in, for at least the past six or seven months, there's always a sign on the back counter, 'back in 5 minutes', and most of the trays are empty or missing lots of items. They can make most of it fresh if you don't mind waiting, and I suppose I'd prefer it fresh than to have been sitting in a tray for hours, but lately they're not even back in 5 minutes - obviously the sign just means there isn't anyone back there at all until they notice you - so I don't bother. last time I came in, waited around for eight or nine minutes, then gave up. It's still a good gas station, with all the normal things you can get, but the things that make it interesting and unique are not the focus like they should be. Staffing/management issue - the people who are actually there are always very nice and hard working, probably overworked.
