We booked this restaurant for a special occasion about two months in advance. The day before the reservation, Open Table asked us to reconfirm our booking, which we did. On the day, we turned up at the restaurant to find that it had closed down, completely spoiling our special occasion. Today, Open Table sent me an email thanking me for dining at the restaurant and another email asking me for a review. I have checked the Open Table website and the restaurant appears not to be available for booking anymore, which must mean that Open Table know that it has closed down. So, I am left to wonder why it is that Open Table not only failed to notify me of this, but continue to act as if it is still open. The failure to keep us informed ruined our special occasion. I will try to learn from this, now that I know that Open Table cannot be trusted to keep people informed of changes that affect them.

The restaurant had closed down and this website did not tell me. It was very embarrassing as I was entertaining my cousin who had come over from America.

Yesterday I booked a table at Friends Restaurant in Pinner & received confirmation only to arrive & find it was closed. It has obviously been closed for some time as there is a pile of junk mail on the door mat. Please can you drop this restaurant from your web site & save everyone the inconvenience we suffered last night. Also please stop sending me multiple e-mails saying "Thank you for dining with us!"
