Once upon a time, in a location near you there were these family/fast food restaurants called Frisch's. Then, the apocalypse happened and only about 25% remain, none close to me. Happen to be in the Eastgate area and stumbled upon this one, like a shining star in the night sky. Literally turned around and back tracked. The place is clean, service quick and friendly without being bothersome and the food served hot and well put together like some pride was taken into assembling the food. And, the food was delicious, (fish sandwich, onion rings, Cole slaw that is the best around and a hot fudge cake). Two negatives though: the cost for two with drinks and tip nearly reached $60 for dinner which is hard to believe and they don't have a handicap-accessible entry. Still, nice to know it's there. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Went there with a group of friends and I had a Super Big Boy platter. The restaurant was packed and the service and food was still awesome! It was the best Frisch's I had in many years! I tried the Super Big Boy with spicy sauce. The French fries were not over cooked and the burger was not dry and crusty like the last one I had at a now closed location. This was indeed the Frisch's Big Boy I grew up eating. If you walked away from Frisch's due to the crappy company that ran the chain into the ground, you need to give this location another go! I can't wait to go back to this location! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Parking options: Free of charge parking lot Parking: This restaurant was so busy, the parking lot was packed. They are lacking handicapped parking spaces for the amount of people that was there.
