If you happen to be around Zimmerli, visit this confectionary restaurant. I’m probably a little emotional at the moment, so not my best moment to write an extended review. But the bare bones statement that is objectively true is I was really looking forward to eating here and feeling like it was going to be healthy. That’s maybe my mistake? That I wasn’t knowledgeable about the place? Idk. It was a first time. I’ll just say I was disappointed, and as someone who doesn’t like to make her disappointment other people’s problems, I tried to resolve it in other ways. But I can’t seem to shake the feeling. Especially not after when I told a friend they said that happened to them twice- being excited but then being disappointed. Basically, the portion size, flavor, freshness, and presentation for me personally were not good. I’m sorry to write about it publicly instead of addressing it directly. Sandwiches and other meals are always good. Desserts are and even though I don't live nearby anymore, I always go out of my way to grab some baked goods from Fritz's when I can. I love going here. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
