Fromage, nestled on Nishikata Street in Ibusuki, offers a quaint and inviting space for bread enthusiasts. The establishment garnered attention for its range of handmade breads, from traditional red bean paste buns to various danishes and salt breads. Patrons have noted the charming rustic decor, featuring wood grains and dried flowers, enhancing the cozy atmosphere. However, the diversity of bread selection may not always meet expectations despite the inclusion of intriguing jam-filled options.
The restaurant emerged thanks to the passion of its owner, who honed his craft at Kagoshima's recognized "Mimatsu" before venturing out independently. While the affordability of its products has been highlighted by visitors, specific pricing details remain unclear. Operating primarily during the afternoons from Monday to Saturday, Fromage unfortunately lacks updated insights, with the most recent reviews being over three years old. Accessibility features like a wheelchair-accessible parking area and delivery services are limited, but takeaway options cater to those wanting a quick visit.

This is for use in January 2022. Delicious handmade breads are lined up in a compact and cute display with wood grain and dried flowers. In addition to the standard red bean paste and cream bread, there was a wide variety of danishes, breads with jam and cream that you would definitely want to try, orthodox salt bread, and white bread, all of which had a retro feel that made you want to try them. The owner taught himself while working at the famous restaurant "Mimatsu" in Ujuku, Kagoshima, and returned to his hometown to open his own business. All the breads I bought were very delicious. The pricing is so reasonable that I'm worried about whether it's worth it at such a low price. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely visit!
