Fantastic chippy that has been family owned for generations! Food is as fresh as can be in land, and the service is always really nice and chatty. The fish is always quality and the batter is clean and crisp. One of the best chip shops in sheffield easily. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

We'd been planning for ages to come here and we weren't disappointed. The cod was perfectly cooked in crispy batter, the chips were soft inside but not at all soggy or greasy, and the mushy peas were delicious. Really friendly staff and great value for money. Some friends visiting the Sheffield arena to an event with us, wanted to try English fish and chips. Frymaster was the nearest to where we were staying. I haven't tasted fish & chips like these for many years, the fish, chips, mushy peas & curry sauce were outstanding, not just the taste but quantity too. On top of that the staff were exceptional, nothing too much trouble in spite of a bit of a language problem as our guests were from Denmark! Thank you all for making this a not to be forgotten experience for them (& us too)
