We ordered the tempura set. Included were tempura, rice, miso soup, seaweed, pickled vegetables and sashimi for just ¥1,800. Just the right amount of food! The chef got the oil hot and dinner is ready within 10 minutes of ordering. Tempura is cooked perfectly with no excess batter. The sashimi is quite fresh. The sashimi prawn melts in the mouth and is sweet. The woman who waited on us was exceptionally pleasant and even opened the door for us on the way out. You might walk past this place that's almost (but not quite) directly under RyoGoku train station without noticing it, but if you did, you would miss out on something very special!
