Cool little downstairs bar. Excellent band played mostly Regae. Even room to dance if you get the inclination! Why don't men dance anymore?! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $20–30

This is the place that actually delivers on both vibe and experience. From the moment I walked in, the energy hits you—in the best way possible. The atmosphere is lively without being overwhelming, and the crowd feels like a perfect mix of people just looking to have a genuinely good night out. But the standout? The music. The band that was playing absolutely nailed it. This bar Is one of those rare places where you don’t feel the need to leave early—the music actually keeps you there. The space itself is stylish and well put together, giving off that upscale lounge feel without being pretentious. Whether you’re there for drinks with friends or celebrating something, it fits the occasion. Bottom line: Function Bar + Kitchen is a go-to spot at Yonge & Eglinton if you want great music, a fun crowd, and a high-energy night that actually lives up to expectations.
