Good place to dine in. If you think Monja is very salty, this place won’t be. And the service is good! The only thing is you have to order a drink per person, and they have a tofu snack for you before you order which you have to pay for that. Well, but it is a tradition. No complains. We had a wonderful dining experience. It was so much fun watching the monjayaki being prepared right in front of us, and everything was delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The restaurant was also very clean, and the pleasant background music created a nice atmosphere. What a fantastic and fun dining experience! We visited Furin Monjayaki to try the local specialty, and it did not disappoint. We ordered two different Monjayaki, one Okonomiyaki, and one Yakisoba. The Monjayaki was the star – a delicious, gooey, savory delight that’s so much fun to cook and scrape right off the hotplate. The Okonomiyaki was also perfectly cooked and flavorful. Everything was genuinely delicious. The only minor note was that the Yakisoba was a touch overly peppery for my personal taste, but it was still very good. The open-air setting is a huge plus! The ventilation is excellent, so you leave feeling fresh and without your clothes holding onto cooking smells. The staff were helpful, the atmosphere was lively and authentic, and the food was a memorable highlight of our Asakusa trip. Highly recommend for a unique and tasty meal!
