Start with the pros: service is excellent. Location and atmosphere best in Rochester. The food is OKAY. It’s not great, it’s not terrible. My stomach did not agree with the pork buns, and the pork buns are tasty, but underwhelming and one were served lukewarm, which can be concerning with meat (especially pork…) the beef soup was okay. Very little meat. The broth was piping hot and tasted nice - which I appreciated. But I was charged $1 for a hoisin sauce side, and the final bill for soup, buns and a beer was close to $39 before tip. That is rough for what is definitely not local or regional ingredients. And that brings me to my final point - the ingredients are so clearly either Sysco or US Foods. Very cheap precooked meat - sad little vegetables. I wish the menu was half the size and I wish the Pho was banging, with local ingredients and good portions of protein. That would make this place a destination restaurant. First time ordering food from Furoshiki and the food was delicious. Even the kids were happy. We ordered the dumplings, the ramen, hibachi (chicken), crispy chicken with yum yum sauce and rice. We will definitely go back! Food: 5
