I’ve tried sushi in many countries in the world, and I can say with honesty that this is the best sushi I’ve ever eaten. The quality of the salmon is impressive, the rolls are perfectly made, and basically everything is perfect. I love it, I’ll come back everyday if I could. 5/5 I’ve been coming here quite regularly on my lunch breaks and have consistently been impressed with the quality of the sushi. It’s a small, family-run sushi spot, and you can tell the staff work incredibly hard. The service is always friendly, and despite how busy they often are, everyone is welcoming and helpful I usually order takeout, and every single time the sushi has been fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared The only minor hiccup was with my most recent order. I had requested a sparkling water, but when I got back to the office, I realized I had been given a regular bottled water instead. I even asked at the cash if my sparkling water was in the bag and was told yes. It’s not a big deal at all, and I’m not even sure if they carry sparkling water, but it would have been nice to know at the time so I could choose something else. That said, it’s a very small issue in an otherwise great experience. The staff are wonderful, the sushi is consistently fresh, and the food is absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely keep coming back - - - - - - Update – June 2026 Another reason this place continues to earn 5 stars from me. I stopped in for lunch today and ordered some sushi (no drink). When I got to the checkout, I was surprised to see a can of sparkling Perrier waiting for me. A few weeks ago, I had mentioned in my review (above) that there was a mix-up where I received bottled water instead of sparkling water. The owner must have remembered that comment because this thoughtful gesture completely caught me off guard. It’s such a small thing, but it says a lot about the level of customer service here. They clearly pay attention to their customers and genuinely care about the experience they provide. You don’t see that very often anymore. The sushi is always fresh and delicious, but it’s little acts like this that keep me coming back. Fuumi Sushi already had 5 stars from me, but if I could give 6 stars, I would!
