We ended up in this place on our last evening in Tokyo, as we were craving some good tempura before we left. The ambiende was very traditional and full of decos on the walls, the owners were a little and lovely family, the food (try the butter okra, it was delicious) is prepared from scratch and freshly so plan a bit of time while you wait for your order. The amazing food and knowing we would have to leave Japan a few hours later made us tear up a bit when we complimented the chef, after we paid the bill.
