We stopped in middle of the afternoon. Grill wasn't open at the time, but didn't take long for them to get it going. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

My wife and I were on our way home from our granddaughters birthday party (2hr 20min drive). We stopped at the Owl's Nest to watch the HAWKEYES beat Wisconsin and have something to eat. We found a table with a great view of the TV to watch the game. The waitress gave us menus and the remote for the TV. She said she would be right back. Over 30 minutes later, and walking by us several times, my wife went to the bar to order. The waitress said she would come to our table. She did show, we ordered our food with beverages. She brought our beverages and silverware. Keeping in mind we were there more for the football game, but after 45 minutes no food. We were going to leave but wanted to watch the game. After waiting for over an hour we were finally approached by another employee. Our food was finally delivered and it was the wrong order. So we had to wait longer. Approximately 1hr 30min waiting for food. On the positive side, we were able to watch our HAWKEYES WIN and did not have to pay for our bill. They did take ownership of their mistakes and apologized for the horrific service. Which is the only reason for 2 stars. Service: Dine in

Went at 9:00 at night, hoping the kitchen was open. It was. Our waitress, Stacy, was very friendly and accommodating. Our food arrived in a short time and was very good. Several of us had the tenderloins and we're not disappointed at all. Nice place and atmosphere.
