I was a bit worried because there were quite a few mixed reviews, but it turned out to be delicious and I was very satisfied! All of the sashimi was fresh, and even the shellfish—which I usually don’t like—tasted great. The roll carpaccio was sold out, so I ordered zaru mozuku instead, and I’m really glad I did! I thought I didn’t like mozuku, but it turns out I just didn’t like the vinegar in mozuku-su. I think the mozuku from Ishigaki is just incredibly fresh. There was no unpleasant smell at all, and it went down smoothly like soba noodles—true to its name, zaru mozuku. I’ll definitely order the zaru mozuku again next time I come!
