Nestled in the lively district of Kitanoshinchi, Wakayama, GOAT offers a vibrant nightlife experience that caters to a diverse crowd. As a pub and bar located in Fundocho, it's tucked away famously in the basement of the Park Bilg No.1 building, providing a somewhat intimate yet expansive setting for music lovers and social seekers alike. Known for its dark gothic décor, the venue lets you enjoy your night out in a uniquely atmospheric environment complete with gold-themed restrooms.
GOAT is not widely featured in popular restaurant guides, maintaining a bare presence on platforms like Google. This might mean you'll have to discover more about it during your visit. Visitors have commented positively on the live performances and variety of alcohol options. Whether you're into beer, cocktails, or wine, this spot meets your needs while also allowing you to bring in outside food if desired.
Catering predominantly to a night-time audience, GOAT stays lively from 9 PM to 5 AM most days, and slightly shorter hours on Sundays. Amenities such as gender-neutral toilets are available, and the ambiance manages to be both casual and cozy. While there are few recent updates from the owners on their offerings or events, the bar has historically been successful in hosting a broad array of patrons with its music-focused entertainment and dance-friendly space. Reservations are accepted for those planning ahead, although accessibility for wheelchairs isn't supported.

This is a great bar! The bartender was very nice and even though we do not speak Japanese she still chatted with us. She made good drinks and was fun to talk to. We look forward to visiting again when we come back to Wakayama. The bar is nice inside. Has a dark wood bar that is cool gothic aesthetic. Very cool!! We didn’t have food here, but were given pistachios with our drinks. Definitely recommend! Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
