Ordered the lamb gyro. It was expensive ($18) but I could barely eat any of the meat because it was so chewy! I paid extra for the lamb but didn't get to enjoy it. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Tried the new Greek spot in town. I asked if they were affiliated with the longtime Greek place in Union Market and they said yes, but honestly it doesn’t really feel connected at all. Completely different vibe, branding, and style of food. This one feels much more like a VC funded polished fast-casual concept than an authentic Greek restaurant. That said, I did like the digital ordering screens and how easy it was to filter for vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, etc. Definitely convenient if you want something quick after drinks. Food was okay overall, but inconsistent. The pita was very warm, the fries were cold, and the extra meat add-on was surprisingly small for the price. Overall: decent fast food option, but the Greek spot in Shaw is still the best in DC and the original Union Market Greek place tastes much more authentic. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 4
