Griffon is a cozy pub and bar nestled in the heart of Meguro, located on Shimomeguro. This spot seems to offer a casual yet trendy atmosphere perfect for solo diners looking to unwind. Known for its wide selection of wines, Griffon features hard-to-find labels from France, Australia, the U.S., Japan, and other regions. The wine lineup is ever-changing, offering patrons something new to explore with each visit.
Though seating is primarily stand-up, there are a couple of chairs available for those who prefer to sit. While the establishment lacks wheelchair accessibility, it caters well to those who enjoy good conversation over a variety of food and drinks, including beer and notably natural wines. Despite being quite small, Griffon manages an expansive offering of alcohol, complemented by light bites at the bar. Importantly, the friendly owner adds to the inviting vibe, providing a welcoming space for both newcomers and regulars.
Open Wednesday through Sunday, Griffon's hours suggest a prime destination for night owls in search of a late-night glass of wine, courtesy of its operations until midnight. However, there's little known about recent changes or updates directly from the restaurant. For visiting hours, weekdays start in the evening, while weekends offer an earlier opening time. Established patrons praise the venue's warm ambiance, indicating that even a solo visit can feel both engaging and comfortable.

The owner has very particular about wine and he’s funny. We can enjoy selected and often rare wine, which made in France, Australia, US, Japan and so on. Its lineup depends on the time, so you can find different taste there every time!
