I recently had a chance to visit this restaurant doing Philadelphia's restaurant week. It is located on Broad Street so be prepared to find parking close by. The great thing is is that across the street there is a parking lot and there is a side street parking if you go late enough. We had a reservation for 630 and by the time I arrive with the rest of our party we were seated promptly. Because it was restaurant week we had a limited menu and limited selection to choose from but we all found some thing on the menu that we enjoyed. I've ordered the cheeseboard for an appetizer the cheese was just OK of course brie is always a delicious option but there were two other cheeses that didn't seem to me to have a lot of flavor. Also in my party there was an order of escargot which was lovely and an order of pate which was also really good. For main dishes we ordered the vegetable tart and the steak in fries. The steak and fries had a very nice flavor and came with a peppercorn sauce the vegetable tart came with a salad. My friend getting the vegetable tart felt like it was missing something. That it could have had a little bit more flavor and that it left her wanting some thing more. We also got drinks my cocktail was a watermelon margarita which I did enjoy. Because it was restaurant week the menu had a set price that came with a dessert option. For dessert I had rice pudding with a berry compote. It was really good and maybe the best part of my meal. I would love to visit again and try other options on their French inspired menu to give them a second chance. While there the server was unbelievably friendly and I love the modern decor of Gabi.
