Fantastic bar with a brilliant range of music. 3,500 LPs and probably 5,000 CDs in the bar. Great music from various soul artists, music God (Bowie), Kate Bush, Heaven 17, Phil Collins, The Jam etc from the 80's. The host was very knowledgeable about the music available, and made sure the choice of the customer was shared. Lovely relaxed atmosphere with like minded people from Japan and across the world. Price per person: ¥5,000–6,000 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A wonderful bar on the second floor of a building in the entertainment district. Toshihide is a charming host with an encyclopaedic knowledge of music, particularly the ‘80s, and thousands of records and CDs to choose from. He’ll let you pick a song and will tell you about his collection and concert history. There’s a good drinks list, including several Japanese whiskies. There’s a small cover charge that includes a snack, then it’s pay per drink. On a Monday night at opening time I was the only customer but it gets busier at weekends. Go and support Gaffa!
