We went there during our family vacation and really enjoyed it. It's very comfortable to sit in, we were served in a very friendly manner and the food tastes simply fabulous (including seafood)! We tried several restaurants in Monopoli: we liked the pizza here the best! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Really highly recommended You sit on the edge of the old town in a great courtyard. Extremely friendly staff, good prices and very tasty food. Very inexpensive. The highlight are the Orechiette con cardoncelli e salciccia. That means the specially shaped pasta with mushrooms and salciccia sausage...extremely delicious The boss grew up in Germany and looks after her customers with love. We ate at Gallo Nero several evenings during our vacation in Monopoli and were thrilled every time! I particularly liked the location: right on the beach in Monopoli, with a shady and covered garden. Antonella and her family are warm and friendly hosts, we never had to wait long to be served or for the food to arrive. The food was very tasty and there was a good selection of both starters, main courses and pizzas. I can also highly recommend the tiramisu!
