This place was great when it first opened. Been back a few times and have definitely noticed a decline. Probably won't be back. Too many other great restaurants to waste $$ on mediocre. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

My wife and I were in Bellingham for a couple of days to take care of some personal business. Because of COVID-19 restrictions eating in was not allowed so we had to get takeout and eat in the lobby of our hotel. After reviewing the high ratings on Yelp, we decided on Galos Flame Grilled Chicken. The on line ordering option was available, but only offered a limited number of options. This was fine for the most part, but we wanted to substitute two premium sides for the regular sides. We couldn't figure out how to do it. I then repeatedly called but only got a recording stating that they were helping other customers and to call back later. Undeterred, I drove to the restaurant. When I ordered, the counter person told me that they were busy and it would be 45 minutes before my order would be ready. I expressed my surprise that it would take so long. She told me that I should have called in my order rather than just showing up. I told her that I had called 30 times and shared my experience with the recording. Her response was that I was not being truthful, so I showed her my phone with the 30 calls. Since the hotel was very close I went back to wait. I returned 35 minutes later and my order was ready for pick up. The counter person apologized for the wait. I asked if she included plastic ware because we were at a a hotel. She said yes. I returned to the hotel and guess what. No eating utensils. But now the good part. We that the chicken was outstanding. It was moist and had a wonderful flavor of the herbs and spices, from being cooked on the grill. The Mac and cheese side was good, but the grilled veggies were limp and lacked the same flavor punch of the chicken. We would return, but were not sure that the delicious chicken is worth the hassle of the logistics.
