A wonderful place just around the corner from the Basilica di San Vitale, open in the afternoon unlike most restaurants in the city centre. The owner was incredibly friendly and english speaking too — on his recommendation I had the Tortellini al ragù, which was absolutely outstanding. Beautiful interior, wonderful atmosphere and great music. The owner was even watering his plants — a truly charming experience. And even the accessible toilet is absolutely delightful! Definitely worth a visit — the best food place I've had in the city and at a very reasonable price. Thank you! Meal type: Lunch

A leg up on the Ravenna crowds! great little place just a block from the most famous mosaics, but on a tourist-ignored side street. Go for the specials on the chalkboard; a real chef works there. The feeling of the place matches the logo. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
