This place is amazing! We really enjoyed it, atmosphere is great and the food is delicious. It’s a Japanese-Peruvian fusion. We ordered the ramen and some sushi rolls. The sushi was super fresh and had an amazing mix of flavors. Overall, it was a really positive experience and I’d definitely come back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

One of the better restaurants I've been to in my life, which made it all the more shocking when I learned that it was new (open about two months). The food was really creative, great attention to detail, and truly a Peruvian-Japanese fusion, faithful to both food traditions. Really pleasant atmosphere, the lighting was great, just a very peaceful, relaxed place, while at the same time the young cooks/chefs were doing some serious cooking and plating. The freshness of the fish, the perfect textures and temperatures, really make it kind of a bargain, considering a place like this in Japan or Lima would be much more expensive. Last but not least, the waiter who attended my table, Brian, was very friendly, knowledgeable, and informative. Good blend of Spanish and English so that I could practice my Spanish, while at the same time catch nuances of the food that he explained in English. Really can't say enough good things about this restaurant. I am so impressed! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had an absolutely AMAZING time at Gambatte Select. All the dishes were exquisitely prepared. My husband and I were huge fans of the concha batayaki nigiri and even ordered it twice. The picture is their adoboramen (may have spelled it wrong, sorry!) which blew my mind. I'm Japanese and yes, this is definitely and you could taste the Peruvian influence; but what amazed me the most was that it elevated both food cultures and was clearly its own unique Nikkei dish! I would heavily recommend Gambatte Select to any Foodie. Apparently they are still new, so spread the word! Meal type: Dinner
