Garden, located on Itsutsubashi in Sendai, offers the blend of a pub and bar experience in a modest and casual setting. Nestled within a quiet residential area, it provides an inviting atmosphere with both table and counter seating available. The establishment is particularly noted for its lively group of patrons and an owner with a penchant for Guns N' Roses and hard rock, which shapes the distinctive ambiance.
Guests can indulge in a varied selection of alcohol, including beer, cocktails, and notably, whiskey, though dining options are limited primarily to table service. Despite being a small venue, it draws a diverse array of visitors, including non-Japanese patrons, with English-speaking services accessible. It's important to note potential accessibility challenges, as the establishment does not have wheelchair-friendly amenities.
Garden's exact operating hours remain elusive, offering an air of unpredictability that could fascinate night owls or exasperate planners; the outings prolong until festivities conclude. While it beckons those seeking a cozy, moderate-priced escape from the bustling city scene, some reviews raise visitor concerns. It's advisable for potential guests to be mindful and maybe check on recent updates, as there has been no fresh feedback from the owner in several years.

Casual and cozy small bar in a quiet residential area. It's far from formal but the owner was quite friendly and with a full of hospitality. The regular customers were also friendly to welcome a tourist. I hope I'll be back to Sendai soon again.

Cozy bar with a Guns n' Roses and hard rock-loving owner, and a colorful group of customers. It's not a gaijin bar, though some non-Japanese frequent it, and the owner speaks English. There are a couple of tables and counter seating. Nice selection of whiskys. When it opens is anyone's guess (late and later), and when it closes depends on when the party's over.
