Enjoy Letitia Morris - Original Vintage Posters and come to this cafe. Perfectly cooked sandwiches, avocado toasts and pork have a good taste. Come here and have great coffee.
The atmosphere is quiet, many guests appreciated the style of Gardiner And Field.

I was very surprised by this place. Tucked away in the suburbs, it's a great little spot. Friendly staff, great food and great coffee. What more could you want!

A cute little spot in the middle of a neighborhood. There's ample parking which is a huge plus. We tried several items on the menu including: Thai Chicken Salad: a little one dimensional, needed a little more zing to the sauce. Nice ingredients, but really heavy on the bean sprouts. Lamb Souvlaki Sliders: absolutely delicious.... lamb with tzatziki, everything you would find in souvlaki but served like little sliders using lavash as the 'bun'. Poached Eggs on Toast: a really creative dish topped with pomegranate seeds, pepitas and more. I wasn't sure the pomegranate seeds would work, but it was perfect. Nice mix of flavors and textures. Pulled Pork Sandwich: not like pulled pork you'll find in the US as it isn't overly sweet. Jerk Fries: absolute bomb! Super crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Must order! They have great coffees here so don't miss out on them. I'm not even a coffee drinker and I seriously enjoyed it. Always go for single origin!

In the heart of leafy, tranquil Armadale lies Gardiner and Field.. a truly classy, classic, well put together little cafe. Mums, friends, businessmen, students - all types of people inhabit this peaceful place. The food is to die for - think braised pork slow cooked in apple cider alongside your perfectly poached eggs. Think softly smoked salmon and spiced pumpkin and fetta mash. Think luscious, plump, soft and crunchy bread (yes, even the gluten free is just as good). Think delicious. Think satisfying. Think it's time to visit Gardiner and Field.
