This restaurant provides you with nice food and a place to rest after a long walk around Museum of New Zealand (Te Papa Tongarewa). Try Indonesian cuisine here. Many visitors come here to enjoy perfectly cooked gorengan, chicken and braised lamb.
It's a pity, the staff is courteous as a number of guests note. Service at Garuda Truck and Eatery is something one can name good. Google users awarded the score of 4.8 to this place.

We went to the Garuda Food Truck at the Wairarapa Balloon Festival - Night Glow. From waiting in line to order to receiving our food was over an hour. This didn't bother us until we noticed number 36 being called repeatedly for the person to collect their order. We were number 46 and ended up being handed the cold order that was originally prepared for number 36 that had been sitting there for 15/20 minutes. Absolute poor form. Very disappointing. Price per person: $10–20

Thank you for your review, I am really sorry for making you wait too long and ended up serving one of your orders cold. We are based in Wellington and we were short on staff who could work at Wairarapa, so we got help from our friend from Greytown where he has never worked with us and we had no time to train him. Same with our other cook. To add to that our eftpos was not working because there was no reception. This made it stressful for us and it caused a delay in our service. I appreciate your feedback because it made us aware of our mistakes and we will try our best to not do it again. In this situation I had to risk taking staff who weren't fully trained. Please stop by at Harborside market waterfront Wellington which happens every Sunday and you will get better service with fully trained staff. We will remake your order and everything on us. Thank you.
