Amazing food creations in a Latam Mediterranean inspired fusion.
3.8 of i could but couldn't bring myself to make it a 4. service was fine except that they didn't ask if we wanted bread or not but they did ask the table next to us. steak tartare, goat cheese and ceviche appetizers were all great and worth getting. the portion sizes were good as well. not huge but i would say two appetizers and an entree each would fill a fairly hungry couple up. as for the paella; this was a bit of a struggle for me. too al dente and very salty. the seafood was cooked well, but overall it was so salty i would have sent it back if my husband would let me.

My wife and I visited Gastromaquia for lunch and tried the Bluefin Tuna, Grilled Goat Cheese, and Fried Eggs. The tuna was fresh and tender and topped with sweet mango, tomatoes, pomegranates, onions, airy rice noodles, and sriracha mayo. The goat cheese was creamy and topped with honey and a basil pesto sauce. The salty and yolky fried eggs sat on a bed of savory potatoes and were topped with diced bacon and scallions. Overall, Gastromaquia is a solid spot for lunch.
