Great pub landlady very good world class Weismainer wheat and pils on tap also great. Food small menu but good and plenty

Rustically furnished. Polite service and reception. Snack plates or schnitzel with potato salad can be ordered for hiking groups. If you request for a birthday, you can get German cuisine, i.e. roasts and dumplings. It's not in the town center, but a digestive hike to the Thüringer Warte or to the romantic Lauenstein Castle, which is called Mantelburg, is more than worthwhile
