The.Best.Ever. Who would have ever known this was here in Alabama? The drinks were ok. The bread pudding was a bit dry. But everything else This is worth a trip to Alabama alone. Ribeye. Wow. Cheesecake.Bomb. Scallops. Frresshh. So many things to say. Must must MUST go! Like like, goo! Lol Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We eat fairly often at the Gather restaurant in Atmore, AL. We like it a lot. The people and the food. But Saturday, 12/5 was special for us. Our daughter and family were visiting from Virginia and had as a priority to eat at Gather again. It had been about 2 years since they had last been to visit. We were a crew of seven, 4 adults, 2 children (6 and 7) and a 2 year old. Chris, our waiter for the night had not been our waiter since the last time our daughter and family had been with us. He remembered us anyway and pointed correctly to the table we had occupied at the time. While Gather is an upscale, eclectic restaurant with a one page menu full of excellent entrees and appetizers, they are also very willing to serve off-menu dishes for the youngsters. And not just knock-offs of what might be good elsewhere, these were the real deal! Our 6 year old grandson, normally a picky eater, announced after eating much of his Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo that he wants to eat here on his next birthday (November). Can there be higher marks from a 6 year old? The 2 year old also ate the Fettuccine Alfredo with gusto. The 7 year old had an ala carte Tournedo and loved it. All of the adults ate Tournedo Special, including mushrooms with sauce, mash potatoes and asparagus; all were cooked to perfection. Our daughter asked Chris to pass to the Chef that she had waited 2 years to eat here again and it was worth the wait! We rounded out the meal with coffee and delicious deserts. Service and food were outstanding!!
