Nice place. Service depends on who's working sometimes it's great sometimes not so much. Food is very good though chicken is often overcooked. Really needs a cosmetic update. Gator Cove is on the property of a Rodeway Inn and the entrance is kind of hidden. Once inside the impression is, it's just a bar. The bartender was friendly and prompt and we placed our order and moved to a patio with a few tables. The patio overlooks a river that is in the Wildlife Preserve we'd just come, so if you visit that Homosassa attraction, the bar is just a couple u-turns north. The bartender was prompt with our appetizers. The gator nuggets were good and the fried mushrooms were ok. Seems like more of a place for locals who know about it and travelers who don't want to venture from the hotel, but the patio was a fine place for conversation and afternoon sun.
