Yeah I made the mistake of playing in the laughing stock of a "competition" after helping some friends out and once again I wasn't disappointed in the many flaws noticed, the culture of lazyness and disorganised nature of what should be "a great venue" but is sadly still "a circus run by clowns" So I digress.. 15 players signed up (ish maybe more) 3rd round finishes play at 20.15pm Venue shuts at 10pm (according to website and sign clearly written on door) 25ish min rounds (possibly longer due to competency of staff) 20.20pm - told there was "not enough time for a 4th round?!?.." ..4th round about 25ish mins again- a 9pm finish 4th round Makes me think.. what are staff doing for the last hour YOU ARE PAID to work?! And then yeah I realised.. you can easily screw people on adequate prizeing by simply having lots of people on the same records and thusly justifying a very low prize giveout (not the first time it's happened) While it's a fun casual evening.. but anybody who wants to be "the best like noone ever was" simply should never set foot in there until the staff change and not just favour the other community's, but take care in EVERY player who attends, and not care more about their pockets and working harder until 10pm.. I'm happy to hear the arguement "head office says so" when all the other franchised venues seems to operate correctly and smartly. The way I see it, I wouldn't be surprised if it closes for good asap and they try to destroy the community in Liverpool on its way out - I hate seeing mostly nice people lose out on their hobbies/dreams but I will never set foot in there again now until new management/staff do their jobs properly and honestly. ..there are other venues available to play - play honest and don't be cheated anymore #TheyDontCare

Brilliant place, everyone is so friendly and a lovely mix of ages all enjoying various games and sharing knowledge etc. I love the inclusivity, the vibe & the staff are amazing. The monthly makers market is fabulous with skillful, talented artists & crafters too.
