Once the promenade around the Chiesa dello Spirito Santo is over, visit San Francesco. If you are fond of Italian cuisine, complete your collection with this bar. The cooks here prepare tasty bruschetta pizza, pasta and focaccia. Order good gelato and nicely cooked brioches at San Francesco when you happen to be near it. Delicious cordial or good wine are worth a try here. Visitors don't highly appreciate latte at this place.

Surprised by some of the reviews! I spent the day in Scilla and came here first for a cappuccino and cornetto al cioccolato. I returned later for an early dinner. I speak virtually no Italian but found it easy to order inside and was shown to the seating area to pick whichever table I preferred. The pizza alle verdure was delicious and was served quickly. Blackberry gelato for dessert was wonderful. Prices are very fair, especially for an establishment so close to the beach. Parking was easy because I got into town early enough in the morning (before 9) and there were plenty of paid parking spots available. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €1–10

Tasty granitas and icecream. It's a good place to chill from the beach. Service is a bit slow and tables are not always clean. Service: Takeaway Meal type: Other Price per person: €1–10 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
