Great cafe! Coffee is amazing and their food is beautiful inside and delicious out. Everything I’ve tried was tasty and I especially love their Filipino dishes. The place has lovely decor with beautiful greenery. Highly recommend.

We went to General Charlie Cafe last Saturday, 15th August around 1230pm. We ordered Chicken inasal and Big Almusal. The owner gave us free leche flan. I reckon it was thoughtful for him to do that but we appreciate it cos we did wait a fair bit for our table. I liked where we were seated when we finally got a table - near the corner where most of their plants display are. I have also ordered a tub of Manila St ice cream ube to eat with the leche flan. Yes, they have a fridge full of Manila St ice cream. Overall, it was worth the hour drive from Arcadia. We loved the ambience and the food was great. After we ate, we ordered another leche flan and ube cheese pan de sal for takeaway. We heat up the pan de sal on the air fryer for about 2 mins at 180 degrees and it tastes like freshly baked again. Yum! Perfect for Sunday brekkie. This last comment is not for the owners of this cafe but for the customers. In this pandemic, when small busineses are trying to earn as much inspite of the restrictions and social distancing - lesser tables and seats to offer, the least we, the customers, can do is be aware of how long we stay and eat in our tables. I know we get caught up with our catch up talks with friends while we eat. But at the time when we went there, I noticed this lone customer who was sitted opposite their counter. Most of the tables has been occupied and filled out several times and yet she remained in that table where there are other customers waited to get a table. Please give so much consideration to the owners who could have fill that table if it was vacated as soon as you have eaten. This is a small cafe area and tables are greatly accounted for possible more income. Please help by being a considerate customer. Don't linger too long. ---sincere review from the lady in pink dress ;)
