Fabulous fare! Chef Harith's boutique operation is unlike anything you get in Colombo. Closest thing to sitting at a top chef's table, but in your own candle lit (what, you have generator!?) home. Top notch ingredients. Unique recipes. This is not 'restaurant quality'. This is something else. General Stores just kicked the Colombo food scene up a notch. What I tried: Wood fired fish wrapped in banana leaf (delicate, aromatic. Try with and without the sauces. Pairs well with Halmilla. Recommend you sit by the freshly delivered package and breathe that goodness in first. Spicy prawn dry roast kadai (intensely flavourful yet treating the lovely prawns just right.
