I moved to the albany area from the city and I really love this place, the ingredients and toppings taste fresh and delicious. I'm a big fan of the wood fired thin crust, a lot of the pizzas in the albany area are too doughy and floppy. They are ny style slices but never have the crispy undercarriage. So I'd say if you like a thin and crispy pizza with a nice char this is it. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

I've only been Italian for ~44 of my 68 years and I haven't even been a big fan of pizza for most of those years. I was no different than everybody else. We all like our's our own way or we don't like it at all, right? Then, finally, I became acquainted with thin crust pizza with high quality ingredients. I now have only two "go to" places for "my" pizza. They're both in Saratoga Springs and Gennaro's Pizza Parlor is one of them. Anybody that knows me probably knows the other place, too, but that doesn't matter anyway. Both places are WAY more than "just a pizza joint" but most folks don't realize that until they actually experience each. Broad and very diverse menus and absolutely OUTSTANDING pizza! My favorite of the two is always whichever one of the two that I've been to last. I was at Gennaro's yesterday. :-D
