Foods really good - some negatives (easy fix) forgot our order had to wait 40 minutes until I spoke to someone - Partners roast come out and the sides came out 3/4 minutes after - bowl had a big chip in it Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

Food is ok, though portions (particularly the steak) are on the small side, making it overall a bit expensive for what it is. Despite the low value of the food (considering this is a pub), the service is very good, staff is friendly and polite. All in all it is alright but do not expect pub prices. We had a lovely Sunday lunch here today! I don't usually rate a Sunday roast, but the pork belly was delicious (crispy crackling, tender meat), strong Yorkshire puddings and well roasted roasties! We added a cauliflower cheese side - super tasty! Lamb kofta and beetroot starters also delicious, and sticky toffee pudding rounded it all off nicely! We were a table of 6, booked 1-2wks ahead, and everyone loved their food. It's tucked away so I'd look forward to trying the beer garden in the summer on the way back from a walk. Service was absolutely fab - we will be going back and recommending to friends. Price per person: £40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
