Besides Priorwood Garden & Dried Flower Shop, visit George & Abottsford Hotel in the vicinity. The British cuisine is on the menu at this bar. Try good steaks, mushrooms and fish to form your opinion about George & Abottsford Hotel. You will be offered delicious lager, ale or whiskey. Based on the guests' opinions, tea is great. Clients don't like yorkshire pudding at this place.

Fabulous stay at this friendly hotel. Myself and My faithful Pooch Grace had a great stay . Yes the hotel is maybe looking a little tired and whilst the room was adequate enough, some more coat hangers or fixed hangers would of been handy . But what makes this hotel for me was the staff. From booking, check-in, the reception and bar the whole team were lovely...more so the bar staff for the fuss they made of Grace. The food was fantastic, an amazing Highland burger which was full of fresh quality ingredients that packed a punch. The breakfast is tasty and massive and fills you for the day ahead . Proper Scottish food done very well . Would happily stay again Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great value

Had a Fantastic meal in the George & Abottsford Hotel, Staff are very friendly and welcoming, could not fault the service.Food was really good, decent size portions, was a struggle to finish but it was that good. I had the steak pie, which was nice and tender, would definitely recommend.Mum had the breaded fish and she said it was beautiful.Would definitely recommend the G&A for a meal out, and look forward to going back for another meal sometime.
