Look folk, if what you're looking for is fine dining, then check yourself. This is a historic, mom & pop joint with much to pride itself in. The owners have poured their love and life into providing affordable good eats like what you'd have at home. The eggs and French toast are perfectly made. The sausage is tasty and not rubbery or salty. The burritos are huge and the portions are generous. They owners have listened to their customer feedback and replaced the old tables with new tables. In general, be patient with Silver business owners. Service may be slower but it's getting handled with care. George's is a counter dive at a busy intersection. Smog and carbons pollution will affect the looks of all outdoor establishments. However, if you want prices to stay low, you'll look past the cover and, instead, appreciate the nostalgic, note of history that George's Drive-In offers. You won't find it elsewhere. If you're not too proud to leave your ego in the car, you will see that George offers you more than you expected. Enjoy.
