Go for the food. Stay for the service. Go back because it’s family. From the moment you step in, you’re treated like family. The owner, Nikki, introduced herself and asked for our names. She used them when she spoke to us over the course of the evening. Mike, the manager, runs a team of hosts and servers who provide service second to none. And, they seem to enjoy being there as much as the guests. We started with the 3-dips plate. My favorite was the potato and garlic with warm pita. Next up, the flaming cheese. The flaming cheese is a reason to drive out of your way to get to this 2nd Street jewel. They flame it table-side, so it’s cheesy goodness and a show. We tried the falafel, the lamb, and the baklava. Add in a bottle of wine and our meal waschef’s kiss! Nikki told us that it was very important to them to be loyal to their guests. We felt that warmth all evening. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Salad, Flaming Cheese, Hummus, Baklava, Pita, Dolmathes, Falafel Vegetarian offerings: Large vegetarian selection

Food was extremely disappointing. Frozen broccoli and carrots boiled!! Salty uncle ben like rice and artificial butter flavoring with more frozen green beans and dice carrots. Paid $25 for a tiny slice of salmon entree and extra $4 for a tiny rice soup with Julian carrots. This was not Greek cuisine. The pita was most likely from a giant warehouse - nothing freshly made. The staff was nice. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

We strive for excellence in all of our menu items. I assure you that both the rice and vegetables are made from scratch and not frozen. We certainly hope you would be willing to give us a chance to make this right for you. If you are open to it, we would love to set you up with a dinner for two, entirely on us. I can be reached directly at mike@georgesgreekcafe.com. Again, my apologies for your experience and I am hopeful to hear from you. Be well, Mike Cuellar ManagerMore
