Come here for a meal right after visiting The South Carolina Maritime Museum. Visitors may have nicely cooked salmon, hamburgers and fish & chips at this bar. Delicious beer is worth trying here.
Georgetown Corner Tavern is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. You will like fair prices. The atmosphere is homey, as people see it. This place is ranked 4.2 within the Google grading system.

Dinner choice for the evening, read other reviews and wanted a burger for my taste. Had the Black and Blue Burger with a Dirty Myrtle IPA, wife had the Club Sandwich and Keeping it Teal Sour. Both were very good, flavorful and filling. Enjoyed the waterfront and boardwalk views. Our server took good care of us. Thanks for a great meal. The place is wonderful, especially when it isn't raining and you can sit outside. Then you can bring your dog. The staff is very friendly and you can tell they like being there. Only 4 starts as it took a bit to get a refill. The bartender was chatting with some other staffmember, scrolled through her phone, before going somewhere, disappeared and someone else finally got us a refill. I guess it would have been better if she checked to see if anyone needed anything before disappearing for a few. Attended a fund raising event for Make-A-Wish which included "free food from 12:30 to 3:30." We arrived at 12:15 and were told that they were "out of that food" and we'd have to order from the kitchen, like everybody else. I would absolutely have participated in the charity event without the promise of free food. But, when told to expect it and then have it gone before it was supposed to start was kind of a bummer. I walked a block to Marker 42 Low Country Cantina and enjoyed a wonderful meal instead. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5
