BE AWARE if you require GF food!! Although a few of their menu items are labeled GF there is cross contamination in their food items. Upon asking about their nacho corn chips (GF), they are fried in the same oil as their flour tortillas. This made me question their preparation for other GF items and cross contamination. The owner became very defensive about their GF items when I asked questions so I doubt they change gloves or prep corn tortillas on a different surface than their flour tortillas. I would advise not to eat here if you have a gluten allergy, it may be okay if you are gluten intolerant. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

We ordered the nachos grande and grilled tacos. The guys taking our order was super friendly and patient. The nachos grande were the best we have ever had! The grilled tacos were excellent (although I prefer flour tortillas over corn). We thought the prices were a tad high and almost didn't order, but in the end we were glad we did! Dietary restrictions: Offer gluten free options! Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

If you’re in Escalante and are a looking for some fast, quality, large portions of mexican food, stop by Georgie’s Outdoor Mexican Cafe. Frank, the owner, overheard our conversation on good activities in the area, and in the most warm and welcoming way gave us years of his local experience and even provided us with some maps and checklists. Great food, great company! Endless Travelers Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20
