The opposite of fast food. It took a whole HOUR for, not our entire order, but parts of our order. The girl behind the till was so disinterested in providing even the basics of customer service. I don't know why she bothered wearing gloves when she had them on to use the till, then she'd open and wrap up each individual food item to check what they are that has been sitting under a lamp for god knows how long before returning to use the till or touching whatever else. If you're going to have your kitchen staff on show, make sure your whole restaurant can't see that they are slower and higher than Cheech & Chong. Overall I'd recommend the food itself as that's delicious, just make sure you pre-order the day or so beforehand. Absolutely shocking. Staff have NO idea what's going on. We waited an hour for our order and there was literally about 3 other orders waiting - it was not busy enough for that. You could see three lads all stood around one fryer doing nothing. The server at the front was touching the till and money, then using the same gloves to open up all the wrapped up and ready food to not only look but actually picking apart the food to guess which order was which. Our order with two meals over and hour before one singular item was brought out and then each item of the meal was brought out individually. They had no idea what was going on or what they were supposed to be doing. If you'd like to wait over an hour for food when it's not even busy, watch your food be messed around with by dirty hands and then be served each item individually, then you might enjoy GDK!
