The Woodlands/North Spring area just got another legit bbq player in the area! Gessner's Grub BBQ Co. is fantastic. I got a chopped beef sandwich, which needed know sauce. Just a perfectly smoked blend of lean and moist chopped brisket, on a lightly buttered toasted bun. The two sides I chose were the Smoked Paprika Potato Salad and The Jalapeno Cream corn, both sides could take on some of the best in the Houston and surrounding areas. The potatoes just cooked right, bits of green onion, celery and red bell pepper, the smoked paprika gifts it a perfect pairing with any bbq. The cream corn is in my top 5 of all time, it has a mild to medium heat and is quite addictive. I may or may not have licked the container clean... Lol Welcome back flavor town my friends. Put master Lee is off to a great start! Nick's Local Eats and TX BBQ, Burgers and Brew approved!
