My first fist and certainly not my last. You're greeted by the aroma of authentic Mexican food. The menu offers just enough variety to keep you coming back. Hopefully, next time I'll remember to photograph my meal before indulging. The food was delicious, staff was helpful in helping me decide as a first time customer and service expedited. Awesome food every time for carry out and dining in. They are very busy around typical restaurant times so I typically order ahead. Always worth the wait tho and friendly staff. Clean restaurant. Parking: If you come during peak eating times you may struggle to find a spot. I work very close by this place and have passed by several times. It always seems very busy so I had never tried it but today I decided to give it a shot and I am so glad I did. I am originally from Southern California, so I know a few things about authentic Mexican food. Gil Tacos was such a pleasant surprise and was really outstanding! I tried a few tacos including Asada, Chorizo and Al Pastor. The Al Pastor was hands down the best I have had outside of California. They have a few varieties of salsa available and they were all good but the creamy one had a wonderful kick and was straight up delicious. Service was good, the people interacting with customers all seemed really nice and courteous. I will certainly be back! Next time I think I'll try a Torta. Cheers!
