After enjoying The Springfield Expo Center, go to this restaurant that is not far away. Italian and Vegetarian cuisines provide flavorsome food at Gilardi's Ristorante. Come to this place for a break and degust nicely cooked polenta, Italian salads and Italian pasta. The truth is that you will really enjoy tasty Italian tiramisu, cheesecakes and creamy tiramisu. This spot has delicious house wine, marsala or beer among its drinks. Good coffee goes well with the nice meal.
The terrific staff meets you at this restaurant all year round. Visitors mention that the service is prompt here. Most people suppose that prices are low for what you receive. The modern decor and comfortable atmosphere let clients feel relaxed here. Based on the guests' feedback on Google, Gilardi's Ristorante deserved 4.4.

The food is expensive and exquisite. The atmosphere is a fantastic, dimly lit modern Italian experience. There is limited seating, which makes it very private. For the most part this has always been reservations only. If there was fine dining in Springfield missouri, this is the closest thing you're going to find to it. This is definitely a special occasion, and me and another father were brought here for an early Father's Day dinner. Again the food and atmosphere are absolutely wonderful. Now I have been here probably a dozen times in the past couple of years, and I would normally give a five-star to service. This is the only time there were problems, and I fully expect the server was new, nervous, and ultimately made four or five mistakes concerning the order, from bringing out the wrong food to the other father, and ultimately spilling a soup while delivering it at our table. To be honest, it wasn't that upsetting. It was quite funny at the time, and the staff and server did everything they could to resolve it. It made for a memorable and quite enjoyable dinner, and was a unique experience that I have never experienced at this restaurant. I frankly don't think I'll ever have this experience at this restaurant ever again---and yes I would certainly go again! Everybody's allowed to have a bad day, and I do believe that poor girl was having one of those bad days. Price per person: $50–60 Vegetarian offerings: Large vegetarian selection
