Tracy is the best! Not only does she serve up the best food but she also rescues dogs. What a combination of talent and heart. We visit her weekly Friday market for local vendors selling everything from specialty sauces, polish perogies to her fantastic banana bread (I’m seriously addicted!) and crafts. It’s a real happening! Don’t miss it if you’re in progresso! Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Ginger's Jungle Rescue Restaurant is THE PLACE to enjoy a light lunch and a cold beer, and the best thing happening in Progreso for human's best friends, dogs. Ginger has put together a team to rescue stray dogs, get them healthy, groom them and find a nice place for them, mostly in Canada. My admiration and gratitud to the team that makes this possible: Ginger, Richard, Pamela, Tracy, David and to the countless friends that help with much needed donations and love.
