Having seen Piazza di Santa Maria in Trastevere, it's time to have a rest at this bar. The Italian cuisine is good at Gino in Trastevere. According to the visitors' opinions, pasta is perfectly cooked. You can always degust good tiramisu - a special offer of this place. It is nice to try delicious gin or good wine.

We were greeted by one of the friendliest waiters I have ever met.
We started with two bruschetta-al-pomodoro that were the best I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. Had this been the only thing I ate the whole trip I would not have come home disappointed. The mix of legendary olive oil, basil, garlic and…..was literally a tornado of mouthwatering goodness.
Sandra ordered the Bucatini All'Amatriciana (a traditional Roman dish) and proceeded to go completely silent as she devoured the dish with a look in her eye similar to that of Gollum gazing upon his precious. In fact, Sandra is still talking about this dish even though we are a week removed from our travels.
I ordered a pasta with lobster and cherry tomatoes (by mistake...I had actually pointed at something else on the menu) and could easily have had a two more of the same. Couple this with a glass of Chianti wine and we were off to a phenomenal start to our cuisine-based escapades.
A homey feel to the place that is still run by the elderly wife of the founder and her two boys.
An absolute must!
