We were staying at a local hotel in Elkins when the front desk told us about this gem. We decided to give it a try and ended up eating there twice while in town for 4 days enjoying the 4th of July festivities and waiting to ride the Tygart train. The food was absolutely amazing. And if you're a ranch fan, this place has THE ranch. I ordered the meatball sub with fries and a salad, extra ranch of course. So delicious. My husband ordered the giant calzone which ended up being another meal later. Marinara sauce came with calzone and was delicious as well. The second time we went, I ordered the lasagna and he had the Italian sub. Homemade lasagna with generous amounts of cheese. Absolutely amazing. Salad again with extra ranch.. the second time we were there we saw the owner sitting in the back eating as well. The fact the food is good enough the staff love to eat there as well should tell you it's delicious. They serve beer as well. Absolutely love this place and was sad to leave it behind knowing it's 4 hours away until next time Gino's, I will miss your delicious food. Highly recommend this establishment to anyone traveling through or visiting Elkins. You won't regret giving it a try. Some of the best food comes from little ma&pa shops. What a gem!! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20

I ordered take out: spaghetti with sausage and I ordered 1 extra sausage on the side. I have had this before as a dine in and it was delicious: so I had a reference to go by. I was told on the phone that they were short staffed and had only 1 cook so it wouldn't be ready for 25-30 minutes. I stated that was fine. When I got there to pick up my food, I was on time and my food was ready. I asked the girl if my salad dressing was in there bc last time, they forgot my dressing. She said," You can look and see." She said they didn't have any bread and offered garlic bread but it would take 5 minutes to cook. So I passed on her offer; due to having to drive home still and didn't need my food to get cold. When I checked for my dressing, I opened the bag it was in and the plastic container wasn't closed, but open, so some lettuce was out of the container and in the bag. I told her it was alright. My dressing was in there. I get home, I open my spaghetti and there is no sausage and the portion was so small it barely looked like a side dish portion. I opened another container and there was 1 sausage but I paid for 2 of them. I took one bite of spaghetti and it was probably the worst spaghetti that I have ever eaten. It was cold and the sauce was the color of Campbell's Tomato soup and tasted Exactly like it. The sausage was cold, had zero taste: and normally, their sausage is delicious. One small bite of spaghetti and small bit of sausage and I realized I could not eat this food. It was inedible and I am not a picky eater. So.I called them and asked them if they changed owners: giving them the benefit of the doubt. They said, "No." So I told them I can't eat their food and will bring it back to get a refund. I didn't even taste the salad bc my stomach was already upset with the small bite of food I had tasted already. I drove back and told them what was wrong with it. He handed me the money back for the extra sausage only. I asked him,
"What is that for?" Moving on, I said I expect my full refund. He said he already closed out and couldn't give me my money back: I had paid with cash. He said I would have to drive back (a third time) the next day. He had opened his register for a customer after me, and dealt monetarily with that customer but told me he couldn't give me my refund due to it: "messing up his numbers." I confronted him with the logic and reality that he already had used his cash register for someone else. He didn't like that, turned to the girl who took my money initially, and said he felt like he was getting sick and felt like throwing up. He walked away but came back and this girl hovered over me insincerity apologized only after I said to them both, "You're not even going to tell my you are sorry ?" That's when she doubled down and said," I'm not going round and round with you!" I told her she was being rude. Well...needless to say she asked me to leave or they would call the cops! Too late! The guy who said he was going to throw up, already did. I was talking to a lovely couple outside bc the girl employee kept yelling at me to "Get out!" and "I am putting you on the No Service list!!" The lady outside in the parking lot had asked me if I was alright so I told her what happened and she said that I was treated badly: she said she had heard the disturbance. Those two employees lied to me to my face. In our entire conversation, the "sick" guy, said I would have to speak to a manager "tomorrow"; then he said He was a manager, then the girl said that She was the manager, then when I confronted the confusion, she said they were Both managers. Well...i will go back one more time, but I don't expect much from this sick minded, dysfunctional establishment and they probably won't give me my money back. Too many crooked people working there. And the food is not worth it.
