Come here for a drink after a long walk around Centro Storico Scalea. Among other Irish cuisune places to eat at, this bar can be one of the best. It's easy to find Giò Pub due to its convenient location. You can have good sandwiches, hamburgers and monkfish at this place. Delicious cordial is the right choice. Come here and have great americano.

I've been to the Giò Pub a couple of times with my wife and our almost two-year-old son, and I have to say that it's always a fantastic experience. The pub harmoniously mixes the classic style of Irish pubs with touches of Calabrian culture, creating a unique and welcoming environment. The sandwiches are simply delicious and always tasty, and the starters are plentiful and truly delicious. One of the things that struck me most was the portion of stuffed and fried jalapenos, truly irresistible. The prices are definitely cheap, even if the beers are a little cheaper, but the quality of the food and service is absolutely worth it. The staff is always courteous and helpful, making the atmosphere even more pleasant. A tip: it is better to book on Saturday evening because the place tends to fill up. So far we have always eaten inside the pub, but we can't wait to be able to dine in the outdoor garden that they are setting up right in front of the pub, in a picturesque setting under a sort of castle. We will certainly return with our family and I would recommend it to everyone for a pleasant and not too expensive evening. Giò Pub is truly a gem not to be missed!
